This solution must be capable of integrating all aspects of manufacturing business management under a single umbrella of secure data storage, access, and centralized business rules. Mobius Works has applied its extensive knowledge of IT management and current software technologies to the evaluation and selection of the best available solution- Epicor’s Vantage and Vista manufacturing ERP products.

Both products are based on the leading edge technologies of Microsoft.NET and are the first manufacturing solutions to be truly based on a 100% service-oriented architecture (SOA). The applications were designed with a built-in business activity manager. This feature allows system managers to build their own business rules into the application without the need to touch the base source code again, avoiding costly upgrade issues. These applications can be deployed on most major operating systems: Microsoft; UNIX; Linux. Supported databases include Progress ‘Open Edge’ (included at no charge), and Microsoft SQL Server.

Vantage is the global enterprise version that supports multi-location and multi-national operations. Vista is the single location version of the ERP system containing many of the same features and functionality as the larger Vantage product.
